How to Connect to a Network Drive (Windows)

First off, ensure you are either connected to PTS-Secured-Wireless or connected to VPN

 

Step 1:

Step 2:

Step 3:

Title: Inserting image... - Description: U,{53a58193-b71d-4efd-8658-586ee1cff5ed}{84},3.125,3.125Enter the file path you wish to connect to
e.g. \\Files01\HelpDeskTopSecretFiles

You can also enable "Reconnect at sign-in" so that it auto-connects to this file share each time your computer restarts.

 

Step 4:

Title: Inserting image... - Description: U,{53a58193-b71d-4efd-8658-586ee1cff5ed}{106},3.125,3.125Enter your PTS username and password for authentication

 

Step 5:

Title: Inserting image... - Description: U,{53a58193-b71d-4efd-8658-586ee1cff5ed}{128},3.125,3.125The network drive is listed under "This PC"
