eFax - How to Send & Receive Faxes
If your department has an eFax
account, you have several methods for sending faxes. You have the ability to
send faxes via a web interface, via a shared PTS email account or via mobile
apps (iOS or Android).
To send a fax via email:
It is important to remember that
you will need to change the "From" email address of your email. The
"From" email address should be changed to your department's share fax
email account. These will vary by department.
· Open Outlook and create a new email account
· Change the "From" email address to your department's
shared fax email account
· In the "To" line enter the phone number that you are
looking to send a fax to starting with 1 (Area Code) Fax Number followed by
@efaxsend.com. Example, 16091234567@efaxsend.com
· Add a subject and any text to the email that you like. any text
in the body will appear on the cover sheet.
· Attach any documents or files that you would like to send.
· Click Send as you normally would.
You should receive a
confirmation email shortly after sending your message. Should you need to send

All faxes sent to your
department's fax line will be delivered via email to your shared departmental
fax inbox. Attachments will appear as PDFs.
To Send a fax via the web
interface:
You will need to know your eFax
number and the password for the fax account. Your eFax number is an 11-digit
number including the "1", area code and the number.
For example, 16091234567.
You can access your account via
the web at:
https://www.efaxcorporate.com/myaccount/login

Received faxes can also be
checked through the web interface. Attachments can be downloaded as needed.
To send a fax via iOS or android
app:
You will need to know your EFax
number and the password for the EFax account. Your eFax number is an 11-digit
number including the "1", area code and the number.
For example, 16091234567.
You will also need to download
the eFax app from the App store or the Google play store.
