Instead of creating a brand new Padlet board of your own, you'll want to reply to a Padlet that has already been created for your course.
This is a common mix-up. Your instructor has already created a single shared board for the whole class to use. The goal isn't to build a new board of your own, but to add your post to the one that already exists, so that everyone's responses live in the same place.
- Access the Padlet from within the course page
- Select the + to create a new post or double-click anywhere
- Use the comment box to reply to your peers
